Hello @mikejandreau,
We described the process here: https://octolize.com/docs/article/usps-how-to-get-the-usps-web-tools-api-access/.
Our plugin uses the following APIs:
These should be included in the response along with the details of the account for which you are requesting the access.
If you encounter any difficulties, please let us know, we will be happy to help.
Best regards,
Marta
These instructions do not seem to work, either.
There is no “Register now” on the first link. However, when I register, I automatically get approved and have created an App. The App uses OAuth 2.0 (client ID and client secret) and does not offer UserID or Password as options for authentication. It seems their authentication is more in line with the unreleased configuration in your updated documentation.
Given this information, how do we proceed with installation? It seems USPS does not offer UserID and Password anymore.
Hello @mikejandreau,
Please try to receive the credentials here https://emailus.usps.com/s/web-tools-inquiry or [email protected].
We are working on a new authorization, thus within a couple of weeks should be available the 0Auth 2.0 option, but you will need to waiting for the update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Marta
Since there are no new replies I’m marking this thread as resolved.
When will the new version be available with OAuth? USPS has not responded and I cannot get API tokens elsewhere.
Hi @mikejandreau ,
I’m glad to inform that the current version of the plugin (3.0.0) now supports REST API. Please get familiar with our updated documentation to make sure that the transition to REST will go smoothly. Pay special attention to these articles:

Greg
