How to install custom PHP?

    I have been trying to install co-authors in a Genesis theme. I installed the co authors plugin. I’ve installed this one. But when I go to add the functions you link to in the functions.php file in my child theme, I get the white screen of death and have to sign into my bluehost account to revert the changes.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    You just have to install the Co-Authors Plus plugin PLUS this one (Genesis Co-Authors Plus).
