How to make a Widget Borderless?
-
Hello,
I don’t know css but what I want I think would be simple for someone who does.
My WordPress theme (Parament) creates borders for Widgets. So anything I place in a widget (such as in image) will be framed by a border.
Can I define a class that will display no border for a particular widget?I have installed ‘Widget CSS Classes’ and I have created a class called ‘Borderless Widget’. But I have no idea how to actually code this item.
What CSS code is needed to remove the border from whatever Widget I apply this Class to? And where do I paste this code?
I’m sorry to ask for so much! 😛 But TIA!

You don’t need a plugin to do what you are asking – you just need to change the CSS for your theme – post in your theme’s forum and someone can help you with it.

Hi WPyogi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I thought if I were to change the CSS for the theme I’m using that it would affect all of my Widgets.
I only want one particular Widget to be Borderless. Is this still only something for the theme and not Widget CSS classes?
Thanks again!
Depends on how the theme widgets are coded – I’d need to see your site.
This is my site so far:
How do I determine how the Widgets are coded in the wordpress theme Parament? Is there some code I can show you?
Thank you for your replies!
