How to make Date Picker inline/permanent?

    Hello,

    i’m trying to make the date picker show permanently.
    I changed the the-events-calendar.class.php at line 4559
    and made the html in $filters[‘tribe-bar-date’] to a div instead of an input.
    But when i do that, the date picker doesn’t change the list content anymore.

    How do i do it the correct way?
    Is there a setting somewhere, that i can change?
