    Hello,

I’ve this plugin installed at my site (http://www.juusopalander.com/ebook) and it works fine, but I’d like to have both of those input boxes required for subscription.

Now it allows people to subscribe without filling in anything, or just a name or just an email.

    How to fix this?

Hmm, there is no functionality in the plugin yet that supports this. Let me look into it and see what I can come up with. 🙂

Thanks a lot Danny! If you can figure it out I’ll throw in a donation 🙂

    Hi Juuso,

I gave it a shot, used WP’s default error messaging. Check out Newsletter Sign-Up v1.4.2 and tell me what you think. 🙂

PS. You have to tick ‘name is a required field’ in back-end in order for the name field to be required.

It works! Great response time DvK! 🙂

The error message is quite rough but it’s a good start. Are you planning to change it anytime soon? I have an ebook launch this month so it would be fantastic to use your plugin to power the email collecting.

I have one more feature suggestion:

Customization of input fields, input hield labels and the submit button straight from WP dashboard. I hacked the code by adding ID for those, but it’s quite clumsy way to do it especially if there will be future updates.

Big thanks for all the effort!
