How to make this plugin multilingual?

I want to rename the tabs for other languages. Even with using woo commerce multilingual and wpml there is no option to rename the tabs.
According to this tutorial: http://www.wpmayor.com/writing-multilingual-wordpress-plugins/ it just needs some changes in the code and a languages folder with po and mo files. Could you please tell me where to change the code or fix that for the next version of your plugin?
