How To Overwrite Plugin Files

Gents, how do we go about overwriting the plugin files?

I duplicated the file structure to file “class-shared-counts-front.php” in my child theme, but that is not working. I pulled the “includes” folder out and still nothing.

For some reason, the email link is placing the email form in the bottom of our page. To get around that I replaced the standard “#shared-counts-email” link element with a javascript one. Just want to make sure those changes stay in place during updates.
