Hi Bertrand,
Thank you so much for your kind words and for using Robo Gallery, we’re glad to have you on board!
Regarding your question: if I understand correctly, you’re asking whether it’s possible to open a gallery in a popup (lightbox) directly from a link, button, or image placed elsewhere on your page.
At the moment, this specific feature isn’t supported in the current version of Robo Gallery. However, there are a few alternatives you can try:
- You can link to a separate page where the gallery is published.
- You can also create an album and insert it into a post as a single image; when clicked, it will forward users to the full gallery.
- Shortcodes and blocks (in page builders like Gutenberg) can be used to insert galleries directly into your content.
We are actively working on new features, and we agree the ability to open a gallery from an inline link or button in a lightbox would be a great addition. We’ve added this idea to our development list for future updates.
If you have any specific requirements or use cases in mind, feel free to share them. It helps us a lot in planning features that meet our users’ needs.
Warm regards,
Alex
