How to pull thumbnails

    I downloaded the plugin : thumbanil for excerpts, and it’s not pulling my featured image as a thumbnail for each excerpt. I got a plugin that regenerates thumbnails from feature images and it still didn’t work.

    After installing a different thumbnail plug-in that didn’t pull thumbnails, I’m wondering if there is a setting in the theme that would enable using thumbnails with excerpts?

    I also wanted to note that the thumbnails do come up elsewhere on the site, except for the front page. Perhaps there is some code that could be altered to enable this to work on the front page?
