How to Reduce Generated Image-versions?

    Hi,
    when uploading an image in Media Library Folders, aside from the original file, it generates many other file-versions with variety of sizes.
    Currently in my case, it generates 24 more files from a single upload.

    How to reduce generating some of these files?

    I know, some of these are generated by other plugin but as a whole, I count not more than 7 file-sizes per image, for using in my front-end and my dashboard.
    Why the other ones are generated?

    That is what WordPress does based on the needs of the theme and plugins you have installed. You would need to search for a plugin that helps you manage the thumbnail settings of your site.
