How to remove non-needed elements from print version
-
I am using a plugin called Psychological Tests and Quizzes that creates a PDF. I need to hide the header and the footer for the PDF to display properly. By using the custom CSS box, I have used the selectors from the Customizr CSS glossary and the @media print and { display: none;} but can only get rid of some things. I have read about print stylesheets but I’m not very skilled and am hoping there is a way to just put one selector for the whole header and one for the whole footer versus all the individual elements and to use the custom CSS box to do so. I actually submitted this request for a job via the Customizr site because the developer of the plugin suggested that would be my best route but it has been 5 working days and I have had no response past the autoreply that my request was received so I am posting here in the hopes I can either get a working solution or the answer that I do need someone skilled at CSS and also perhaps specifically in the theme. I guess while on this topic I will also mention that the right side of the text in the PDF goes into the margin area and cannot be seen. I have tried to fix this as well with no results. My workaround for that is to have the page set to right sidebar but that’s not quite ideal. Thanks so much in advance.
