Your website is configured to use https (ie secure).
If someone entered your correct domain name, but with http (as you did your self in the link you provided), what do you want to happen?
Do you really want to completely BLOCK and stop the person from visiting your website because they typed HTTP (instead of HTTPS)?
Or do you want to silently forward them to the correct HTTPS address?
This is what you’re referring to as “unnecessary redirect”.
The plugin is just a tool. It doesn’t understand the context, so don’t follow such recommendations blindly. You need to add the human element to any tool’s recommendations and decide whether the recommendation is useful in your specific case or not.
If you’re referring to something else other than the HTTP to HTTPS redirect, please provide details of the specific URLs so we can take a look.
Standing by.

Hi @gappiah
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately this isn’t the case, the 301’s redirects from https to https. Actually the 301’s redirect from 100% identical URL’s. This is why I want to remove them.
Thanks!

Please provide the specific URL where the redirection is happening, as I don’t see any such redirection on the homepage URL you provided.
When I use HTTP, I get 301 to HTTPS which then returned 200 (ie no redirection). When I enter the HTTPS address directly, it returns 200 (ie no redirection at all).

Hi @gappiah, thanks again!
If you go to http://www.keto-programs.com and click on: “What is a keto diet?” it will redirect a 301 from https to https.
Thanks
Ben
Sorry, I didn’t see your screenshot before posting my last reply.
Your screenshot shows a redirection from https://keto-programs.com/ (ie no www) to https://www.keto-programs.com/.
And that’s because you put the link — two links, actually — without the www on that page yourself.
So to remove this redirection on your homepage, simply edit the page and change the URLs you added under “What is a Keto Diet?” (image and headline — see image below) to include the www.
