Hi there, I’m using GTranslate to give visitors the option to view the site in Afrikaans. However, there is one word that I just need to keep displaying as in it’s English format, instead of the literal translation. Gut = Ingewande – which means intestines and for this context it’s not correct. I want the word Gut to stay as Gut. Can you help me? I’m not really able to justify getting the paid version of GTranslate for one word, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi,

You can wrap it into an element with notranslate class, example: <span class="notranslate">Gut</span>

    How to skip translations?

    Thanks! 🙂

Hi Edo, thanks for your help. I’m not really sure how to apply that to this particular situation? See the page I’m referring to here: https://swdgras.com/home/ If there is a way to use css to stop the translation of gut in this instance that would be great, as I’m using an animated element.

Also is there a way to stop GTranslate using the template’s css? I’m having trouble making the GTranslate look nice in situ on the menu.

    Thanks
