Open your GoDaddy control panel and find the phpmyadmin application. Login to that to access your WordPress database.
1) Export the current content of the database (just in case).
2) Import the backup from your older .sql file
As GoDaddy may have changed stuff since I last looked, you may want to confirm this with GoDaddy tech support.

Hi Steve
thanks for your help!

This is what I get when I am in my databases Management, as you see there’s not a download option but a Backup option which creates a backup copy which will be saved in this location:/_db_backups
Should I then delete the actual Database using the Delete command and later add with “Restore” the backup file I received on my email?

Use phpmyadmin, not the “actions” dropdown.

Hi Steve
I found a GoDaddy support page on how to Import SQL files into MySQL databases, this one
Only I’m not sure if this procedure will substitute the old corrupted database with the backup copy I will import.
