Would be nice to have a link to that in the “How it works?” section of the AddOn.
Anyway, these instructions seem out of date and it took me some wild guessing and trying before now I think I got it to work. No data arriving yet, but at least no more error messages. Is there a way to test the integration? Other than waiting until something happens? How long can I expect it to take before data arrives?
(I do see visitors in GA already).
Hi,
the data should show pretty much instantly especially in the wp-admin panel while editing the Ads in wp-admin / Classifieds panel.
If you entered the “Service Email” and “Key” and can see the “Select Service” input (like on the image here https://wpadverts.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/wpadverts-ga-config-2.png), then your connection to GA should be ok.
Please note that the GA integration only reads the data from GA, it does not collect them so if you haven’t done so you also need to put on your site the GA snippet which will collect the data (you can do this using some third party plugin or just copy it from GA and paste in the header.php).
