Hi,
The auto responsive is quite limited in what it can do. If it doesn’t work probably it’s best to set it manually. You can disable auto responsive and then set for the screen sizes you wish the proper width values for the button.
Can you share the standard setting of button width & font size for different device size. In full desktop view I am using button width of 700 and hight 0 (Padding setup for top & bottom)
The point is that the button size of course is different for every situation, theme and page, otherwise the plugin would be able to figure it out automatically.
If the button should be full-screen of relative to the page size you can use responsive to set a button value like 80% or 90% of the page width, otherwise you can just set a fixed width.
Sometimes it also helps to not define any width or height in the button editor in general. The button then will take the space it needs but not more ( you can somewhat control this with the padding settings ) .
It’ll probably take some experimenting to see what’s best for you site. Most browsers have a ‘responsive view’ option where you can test the different mobile views of your site.
Hi,
How can I change the padding of the button on the responsiveness settings? My problem is if I set some padding on the main settings for the writing to be centered when displayed on laptop then when I resize the button to display on mobile devices also uses the same padding which is too much for that size and the writing is off center.

Hi Rosa,
You can’t directly change the padding settings via responsive options. You can experiment with the width settings. Also text is better centered on a button not via padding, but via the center button of the font settings.
Hi Bas,
Unfortunately the center button of the font settings leaves the text on the top center not in the middle of the button. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I cannot see any other options.
Thanks,
You can leave the padding top active, that’s fine. I thought the point was you needed to center the text horizontally, also on mobile?
