How to split content and posts (Busy Bee theme)

Hi,

I’m working on a site right now ( http://www.chillhop.com ).
I’m using the Busy Bee theme from Woothemes.
I want to be able to have both content and posts on 1 page. I searched the internet already, and any kind of code (custom template) that would do this, would screw up the formatting of my posts to the point where I could not do anything with it. Any kind of plugin doesn’t show my posts in the format they are shown on the front page.

I know it’s possible, seeing I was able to get my Featured Article slider up there with my posts in the home page with the help of a special option in the settings of the slider itself.

However, I just can’t believe there isn’t a simple workaround to be able to have your own content and beneath that your posts (from a certain category, but that’s extra), in a box or something.

I haven’t found a decent plugin that would format the posts as they would normally be formatted, but if someone thinks they have one, I’m more than open for it.

I am desperate here, and I hope I’m overlooking something obvious and someone can help me out here. Thanks! 🙂
