How to view saved SQL file with formatting?
-
After moving to a new domain host, I was unable to restore function of a WP blog. All the data are fully backed up, and I can read the SQL file in Notepad++. Rather than strucggle to fix numerous links etc, I would like to set up a fresh WP installation and create new posts and pages from stored data. It would be much easier if I could see everything as it originally appeared. I did try setting up a virtual server on my PC just to look at things, but it didn’t work well and kept breaking.
So I’m wondering if there’s a freeware program into which I could simply paste the SQL file, in whole (~2MB) or by sections, and see it as it originally appeared? I tried SeaMonkey, but that just displayed the same mess of text, image refs and links as well as all the HTML codes.
Thanks for any help!
