how upload file without FTP

    How do I upload a revised php file when I can’t use FTP? The person who set this up used Linux server which I find complicated and very much out of my league. I tried using a FTP called Fetch (I use a Mac). But the user name and password provided by the client (which accesses the Linux) didn’t work in the FTP!

    Is there any way of “uploading” a revised file in WordPress w/o using FTP?

    Why don’t you contact your host for the FTP info? They can reset your password for you if the one you have doesn’t work.

    Another way to get the file uploaded is your host probably has some sort of control panel (e.g., cPanel) application that you can use. But you would need to know your login credentials to get onto your hosting account.
