Hi Audrey!
How are you inserting the horizontal rule? Are you using Make’s built-in Format Builder?
Hi there,
First, I tried using Make’s built-in Format Builder. There, I could see the line appear in the visual mode, but then when I looked at the site the line was not there. I made sure the CSS was ok and it was, but then I changed the color to double check and still nothing, no change.
So, I decided to insert it directly into the code of the page, I tried several different places to see something appear and no, nothing appears. The code I put was <hr/>
Instead, now I used a nasty bunch of underscore one after an other! Not clean!
Hi Audrey,
Could you share a link to a page on your site where this is happening? I am unable to reproduce the problem with my copy of Make.
The hr was simply not displaying at all and since I had to put the site online anyway I found an alternative! Not the cleanest one, but it works.
However, whatever I do the </hr> is not showing on the site. It works when I use the builder page version, but then once I post it it does not appear on the site!
Weird!

Hi again, Audrey,
Do you happen to have any plugins enabled? Have you made any changes to your theme’s style or template files? It’s possible one of these might be conflicting with Make and causing this problem.
Hi again,
I double checked and all my plugins are disabled.
I did make some changes to the CSS and template file, as I needed to add things in the template. So I have new divs and such. Can this be problematic? How to fix that?
The thing I don’t understand is why things could be conflicting with MAKE only in some browsers and not the others?

Hi Audrey,
It’s really tricky for us to troubleshoot this issue without seeing an example. Could you please share a link to your page where you’re seeing this issue?
