• I use FrontPage (FP) to maintain my basic website. I am creating a blog & setting up WordPress to maintain the blog. Code to support/control/allow FP extensions, whatever those are, is required to be in the .htaccess file. When the code to support Permalinks is also put into this file, either above or below the FP stuff, I cannot FTP files to the server from within FP … some of the blog posts are ‘returned’ to FP when login is attempted causing FP to crash at this point. Can I have 2 .htaccess files, giving the second a special name for ue within WordPress? Or is there some other solution that keeps both working?
