.htaccess error VmWare Infraestructure

    I´m Trying to install a Network of blogs. I follow step by step the instructions in (http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Create_A_Network), but when I create the .htaccess file (did not exist before) and copy the code, the WordPress stop runing. The Welcome page appears broken and all links fails to work.

    I´m using the TurnKey virtual appliance in my own local server.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    raulrapadura, I have been searching high and low for a solution to my issue with a TurnKey virtual appliance, and the issue you described sounds very similar to my issue with implementing a network. I wonder if you could share your fix again. I didn’t understand what you meant by

    then you must go to the database and edit siteurl and home and change the values 127.0.0.1 with your ip

    I can only find siteurl and home in the wp-config.php file and not in the database.
