HTACCESS FILE

Hello,
After selecting Expert mode (mod_rewrite) in the advanced tab of the WP Supercahce plugin to , I went to look inside the htaccess file to see if the file was updated.

There were lines of codes between the comments:
# BEGIN WPSuperCache
…
# END WPSuperCache

However, the lines of old codes between the comments are still exist:
# BEGIN supercache
….
# END supercache

These are an old version of WP Supercahce lines of code.

Are the codes above leftovers? Can it be deleted?
Please advise.
