.htaccess file error message

    Hi – I have WP Fastest Cache Pro plugin. I tried today to update options on the plugin, and got the message: .htaccess file was not found. I checked with my host, and the .htaccess file is there, in the root folder. But it seems that the plugin is having trouble “seeing” it.

    Can you provide some help on this?

    PS: The permissions on the file are set correctly, per the host tech support.

    can you delete the .htaccess file via FTP please? and later can you save the permalinks settings again please?
