    Currently the plugin looks for the .htaccess file in the location as defined by ABSPATH.
    So in answer to your question, if ABSPATH is not where you would like your .htaccess to be, currently there isn’t a way to change it as far as AIOWPS plugin is concerned.

    It is a bit disapointing to read that. So your plugin can audit, display, add rules.. to the .htaccess file who is not on the root ?

    As Jason, a lot of people run wp in a subfolder.

    Others plugins like W3 Total Cache or W3 Total Cache manage the good one.. so it is a bit problematic if can’t read, audit and modify the good .htaccess file.
