    Hi,
    i have a big problem with the file .htaccess!

    I write the file .htaccess and i transfer this with ftp on the server; the file is there but if i disconnect and riconnect with the ftp, the file .htacces there is no longer.

    Could you help me?
    Where is the problem?

    Its there, you just dont see it.

    DOT files are hidden. A dot file is anything that begins with a . (dot)

    if you want to see it when you reconnect, you will need to configure your ftp client to show hidden files.

    Hi whooami, the site with the problem is www(dot)liguriaoggi(dot)it not gaetano(dot)contaldi(dot)name!

    Could be a problem of the server?
    They have said that the problem is of wordpress’ installation that it has modified a permission because it make some “rewrite rule” that it stop the write of the admin.

    I hope to be clear with my bad english! 😉

    the file is there. You need to “fix” your ftp client in order to see it.

    excuse me whooami, i have fixed my ftp client in order to see it, but i don’t see it…
    I use filezilla, could you say me another thing to make?
