HTML support has now been added in a new version ( v1.12 ).

I will be writing a lot more documentation in the near future.
Using examples, it will show you how to use the format= parameter, which tells the nivo shortcode what data to display in the caption area.
It uses the code already built into the oik base plugin (v2.1) and which is already available to the [bw_pages] and [bw_cycle] shortcodes.
oik-nivo-slider v1.12 is now available from ww.wp.xz.cn
use the format= parameter to choose the fields to be displayed in the caption area.
