Strange that on all of the sites I’ve installed Autoptimize on, this one doesn’t seem to display the minified code in view source. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Seems to work for me Tony?

This is the source of the site I think I’m having a problem with: https://cloudup.com/c0J50DMpaCK

This is another site I have with Autoptimize enabled: https://cloudup.com/iJSxmwYUCS9

It just looks like in the first example it’s not minified like the second example.

    Am I incorrect?

Just a reminder, I’m not a developer so some concepts I don’t know until they’re explained to me the first time.

BTW, the first example is on Divi and I just disabled Divi minification, just in case that changes anything, but it did not.

The second site is on the Make Theme by Theme Foundry and the minification has always juyst worked on any site I’ve installed that theme.

You will not see the CDN on 67Biltmore, because I’ve disabled that now in favor of Cloudflare RocketLoader and there is minification set in Cloudflare too, b but I’d disabled that and still have the same output for example 1. Now, I’ve re-enabled Rocket Loader and minification in Cloudflare and there’s no change after dumping the cache.

Oh, now I see your screenshot. I didn’t see that before my reply. Hmmm…odd that you’re seeing the minification and I’m not. Not sure if that’s a browser issue, but I dumped my cache everywhere and you’re seeing the minification, but I’m not.

maybe the “optimize for logged on users” isn’t ticked?

Ah, that was most likely it. Thanks. I wasn’t clear on what that check box does. I’m using Divi with Divi Builder, so I left it unchecked, because I thought that might impact whatever I was doing with the page builder.

So, should I leave it unchecked when I’m working on the site and then add the check back when I’m finished?

Will it do anything to whatever I’m working on in the page builder if I leave it checked?

Maybe you can update the text around the feature to explain why one might want to leave it unchecked if, like it says, you’re working with a page builder. It’s not clear why you would do that to someone like me, the non-developer working with these tools to learn them and manage my client’s sites.

well, that option is typically de-activated for pagebuilder-purposes, as some break when AO is active 🙂
