@hjsurk –
Thanks for using Caldera Forms. I’m sorry you’re having an issue on your site with HTML emails. This sounds like a bug on your site, I would recommend submitting the form with PHP debug logging enabled to find the error — see: https://calderaforms.com/2016/05/wordpress-debug-logging/

Hi Josh,
Nothing strange came forward in the debug log. The same template works perfectly fine in Contact Form 7 but this plugins input field for the emails seems to screw up the layout. Seems like it can’t handle spaces, comments etc. I’ve removed most of those but it still can’t properly output the e-mail.
I’ve made an imgur album for you so you can check out what I’m talking about.

Extra note:
I tried this plug-in (works with Caldera Forms): https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-html-mail/
This fixed the layout but doesn’t fill my fields anymore since its just a plain html email.
Seems like the content field for e-mails is buggy because it uses the default rich editor instead of a plain field.
@hjsurk That’s not going to work. You can’t set the full HTML markup in the visual editor. If you want to do that, use the caldera_forms_mailer filter instead:
