HTML Form does not save a subscriber

    Hi,

    I have been wracking my head but unable to find a solution. I have the
    latest version of sendpress plugin. In the settings field if I select
    after subscribing “to show sendpress page”, the subscriber gets added but,
    if i select another page or an external page, the subscriber DOES NOT
    gets added but straight goes to the redirected download page.

    Next, I can’t figure out how a new subscriber, when I can see him getting added, gets follow up emails.

    Help is much appreciated.

    HI,

    I will test this on our setup to see if we have the same problem.

    As for getting follow up emails i am not sure what you are asking about. The double opt in is sent as soon as a user subscribers. Currently all other emails would have to be created on the emails tab and the sent to your list. We are working on autoresponders and post notifications but they are not out yet and will most likely be part of PRO.

    Hi Josh,

    To clarify, I write a message so that a subscriber who opts in gets the download link. In a normal scenario, a customer opts in, gets re-directed
    to an oto maybe, whilst a mail is sent to him giving him the access to what he had opted in for.
    I wrote that mail. In the settings I selected ‘show sendpress page’. the subscriber got added but didn’t get my download message.
    In the other method. I selected an ‘external url’ for after a subscriber subscribes in. The subscriber did not get added but went
    straight to the oto.no followup went to him either for what he had optedin for.

    Josh,

    If you can come online, give me a shout and either through skype or
    through teamviewer you can see for yourself whats happening.

    Hi Josh,

    Help screen doesn’t show me any information. Its just that
    when I set the settings to redirect after submit to sendpress
    ‘thanks for subscribing’ page, the name and email gets added
    in the subscribers page.
    But if in the settings I set to redirect to an external url,
    the subscriber gets redirected to that page however, his
    name and email doesn’t get added in the subscribers page.
    No other information is visible any place else.
    I think, if you agree, I send you the wp login info and
    you can then check out yourself?
