Enable “Convert [] to <> in Link Description and Notes” option in the link sub field configuration of the library.
Then use [] instead of <>
For urls do NOT put quotation marks around the url, as these get encoded which will mess things up. You can also use rel, target, title etc (only for title I haven’t figured out yet how to create spaces between words).
DO use the http:// before the url.
Example:
[a href=http://google.com rel=nofollow target=_blank]visit google[/a]

Fully agree on both “a manual would be handy” and “it’s a great plug-in”…
You won’t believe how much time it took me to figure out to use the table format… but this one, I just would never find out by myself.
