Hi Jan,
What were you hoping to add to your product title? By default, Worpress strips off the HTML tags from both product names and description. However, if you create a new custom field of type “text”, you will be able to populate the field with HTML.
Let us know if you require help with custom fields.

actually, I’m creating a catalog with Photo and Product title only, so I was able to remove the hyperlink of the Photo and product title so it won’t be clickable anymore, but my problem is that, my Product title are very Long. The format is like this:
MT6201: short product description
MT6202: short product description
so I want to make 2 or more lines on the product title. And since you mentioned to use Custom field, is it possible to use custom field in this situation?
Hi Jan,
To clarify, ultimately, you are simply using the main catalog and not the product pages?
If so, we would suggest you using the first part (MT6201) of your product title as the product name, and creating a custom field titled “Short description” of type “Text”. The text would then be the short product description. Select its display to being ‘Both’. This way the custom field will be displayed on all views.
Hopefully, this solutions works out for you. If not, if you could provide us with a link to your website, or a screenshot with markings of what you would like, it would be greatly helpful! π

Yes I’m using the main catalog
Please check this link
that’s the sample of the main catalog, I’ll try to use custom field, I haven’t tried it before, and I’m not sure how it works
With custom fields, you would indeed be able to insert line breaks (i.e. “
“). With this, you could get each product to look the way you want.

how to use custom field at main catalog?
Hi Jan,
Just to be clear, custom fields are a premium feature. You go to the “Custom Fields” tab and you create a new one on the left side.

Yes I’m using premium, I created a custom field but I’m not sure how to use it on main catalog
Hi Jan,
Assuming you are using custom fields in your catalog, make sure the custom fields’ displays are set to “Both” to display them on front-end. Would you be able to give us an example of what HTML code you have in it?
For example, if you have your product with product name MT6207, should have the following input value in the custom field: 10AX 3 gang 1 </br> way switch </br> MT6208: 10AX 3 gang 2 </br> way switch
The </br> tags are here to break the line, so that the text flows onto the next line.

Thank you very much, I was able to see the custom field, but when I tried to put something on the field it would say:
Product has been successfully edited. One or more custom field values were incorrect.
