• Hi all.
    Feel thick for asking this but I’m trying to verify my site with pinterest. I need to find where to place their tag. I mean, I know where to place it, I just can’t find it in Editor.

    I’m trying to paste the tag to the <head> section of the index.html file…..and there I am stuck. Which file exactly is it and where do I put it.

    At this stage, I’m ready to tell Pinterest exactly where they can put it !!

    Thanks.

  • Is it a script, i.e., does it being with <script> and end with </script>? You don’t want to edit any of the theme files using the Appearance → Editor. The easiest way to add a script is by using a scripting plugin. I like Header and Footer, but there are a lot of other good ones out there. If you install Header & Footer, then after activating it, you go to Settings → Header and Footer and copy & paste your script into the field labeled Code to be added on HEAD section of every page.

    Hey. Thanks for your reply. What I’m trying to add is:

    <meta name=”p:domain_verify” content=”8a44871ce1e8fc4e7ffda3279b303cc7″/>

    Also, I did try your suggest but its red-flagged as it is will conflict with Yoast SEO. I downloaded anyway and it didn’t work.

    Appreciate your advice though.
