    Hello there,

Very nice plugin you’ve got here! I’m just testing out the free version to make sure it has the capabilities I’m looking for and will soon buy the pro version. There is one issue I’m running into, and it is somewhat related to me being a noob at word press.

I am currently using a theme (Sydney pro) that utilizes a page builder widget, which helps noobs like me build sites. One specific feature of this site builder is the inclusion of pre-proggamed “call to action” buttons. These buttons are designed to be very noticeable and entice visitors to click on them and in turn redirect them to somewhere else on the website. I would like to set it up so that when visitors click these buttons on my site a pop up (produced by your plugin) pops up. As I mentioned these buttons are pre-proggamed so all a “web designer” has to do is insert a link into the appropriate section of the page builder widget and that will be where visitors are directed when they click the “call to action” button.

I understood the instructions outlined in your tutorial video for creating a HTML pop up, however when I left the page builder widget and entered the visual/text editor to embed the pop up, my entire page broke (I guess now that I’ve started using the page builder widget I’m confined to use it for everything on the page).

I then tried to copy and paste the code that appeared when I attempted to embed the pop up:

    [sg_popup id=”1″]Test 1[/sg_popup]

into the ‘insert link’ section of the page builder widget that establishes where visitors will be redirected when they click the ‘call to action’ button. This did not work.

I was wondering if there is a proper short hand link to the pop up that can be inserted into the appropriate section.

As I mentioned I cannot enter the text/visual editing section of the page(without all hell breaking loose) and as I’m a noob I would rather not go rummaging around in the PHP files (it never ends well.

If there is absolutely no way of doing what I need without screwing around in the CSS editor, could you please give me some coding that I can just enter into my Simple Custom CSS plug in (again huge noob).

Thank you so much in advanced for your Help!

    cheers

    Hi there,

I figured I’d make things easy for you guys and wait for the update, however I saw that the plugin was recently updated and there still doesn’t appear to be anyway easy way to do what I was hoping.

So ya, I would really appreciate it if someone could help me set up my call to action button to open up a pop up I’ve created in your plugin. Is there a formula for creating a link or are CSS changes required? Do you need access to my wordpress dashboard?

    Let me know!

    Thanks again!
