I have selected html in the setup, but the notification email shows a link to the image rather than embedding the actual image in the email.

Obviously it is far more effective to get click throughs only if I can update users by sending them an email with the image from the new post.

Why is the image link showing instead of the actual image?

    Thanks.

OK, well not sure how long it takes to get support, but I must move on. Not sure why your plugin is not working, but Mailpoet does exactly what I need and brilliantly displays images and lots more.

    Good luck.

    Hi @chefinapouch,
    Thanks for your message.

It was the weekend so I wasn’t around for support unfortunately.
In response to your question, you just have to add some HTML around the image link and it will display as HTML in the email. This is so you have the most control over the contents of your emails and apply CSS, etc. to them, should you need to.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi @mortenosx,
Can you please start a new thread for this issue and place all code in backpacks () so that it can be seen on the forum post? Currently, I’m seeing a blank image.

    Thanks,
    Jack
