I just read somewhere that in other WP site-map generator there is option to Include site-map in HTML format, to remark the question, HTML site-map in Simple Wp Sitemap is an option or it come as mandatory to have.

    Thanks.

Hi sorry there’s no option to exclude the html sitemap for the moment. Hadn’t really thought about that, so yeah it’s kinda mandatory atm.

Yep there’s a couple plugins out there that have that option, for instance I think the google xml sitemaps plugin offers it. But I’ll see if I can also add an option for that in the future 🙂

What you can do though if you want to “block” the sitemap right now, is just upload a file called sitemap.html to your websites “root directory”. It can be an empty file, a real sitemap or whatever, and when someone then visits your website.com/sitemap.html that file will be shown instead of the sitemap from this plugin.
