HTTP 500 Error

    My site (www.teaguecampbell.com) began showing me this error as I tried to post a new news item this morning. I went through the steps I found in these forums and other places on-line (.htaccess rename, PHP memory) and now I can not even access my log-in page.

    I have been in contact with my hosting provider and they have indicated it is an issue “on wordpress’ end.”

    Does anyone have some suggestions or experience with this? Any help is very much appreciated.

    Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Error 500 is too generic to be of much use. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

    It was a memory issue. We were putting the php file in the wrong root directory. Thank you.
