    Hi,

I am receiving a HTTP ERROR 500 when I try and edit my home page. I did some troubleshooting and it seems to be the pop-up plugin that is the cause (I can login when I deactivate. Any ideas what might cause this?

    Cheers

    Chris

@chriswalkdigital – We can try to get to the bottom of it, but the only way to know anything helpful is to check your PHP error logs. When you see an error 500 it always means a PHP fatal error occurred which should be logged.

Once I see the error I can hopefully determine what needs to be patched from there.

Let me know. You may need to ask your host if you don’t know how to access your logs.

    HI Dan,

Can you tell me where the logs would be or what they would be called? I can access the folders just not sure where to look.

    Thanks for your help

@chriswalkdigital – It would be different for every host honestly. Best bet is to contact your host and ask where you can find them. Some have log folders, others put them in their dashboards etc.
