    Hi, we are using the lite version to test how the plugin works before buying it, but we are getting this message by email.

    The optin campaign “” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “0: Signed API request has returned an error. HTTP error 400. Raw Provider API response: [{“error_key”:”contacts.api.validation.error”,”error_message”:”Email address is invalid”}].”.

    By the way, we are just using the plugin to send the email field from the Elementor native forms to constant contact. That is why the campaign name is empty, we did no create any campaign.

    We were using 1.2.37.2 version when we received the message, now we updated it to 1.2.38.0

    The error message means the email used in the form is invalid. Test the form with a valid email and send me the contents of your integration log See: https://mailoptin.io/article/view-error-log/

    Hi Ibrahim, thank you very much for your quick reply.
    Can you tell me which email you are referring to? and what can make that email invalid?
    All the forms are “from”, “to”, and “reply to” the same email.

    And I also found a different email in the Campaign Email settings, is that the one you are referring to?

    I had deleted that email from the campaign settings, as we are not sending campaigns yet.

    We have 3 forms (one at a popup on homepage)

    Hi @gulamanu the error log is clear on what the issue is. A user was trying to signup to your list with an email address that Constant Contact considers invalid.

    Nothing to worry about.

    Thanks! One question btw. Is it possible to send more fields to constant contact? beside the email field. It that possible with premium account? thanks again.

    Yes, you can create custom fields and map them to their respective fields in CC with the premium version. The standard plan is recommended for this. See: https://mailoptin.io/pricing/

    Hi @ibrahimkh4l33l I have had this same exact issue on my client’s website for a while now, with the same error log messages and emails. I am also using the lite version with Elementor Pro to connect to Constant Contact, with no campaigns built out.

    I know it’s not from invalid email addresses… I had the issue “fixed” a couple weeks ago by just switching back and forth between v3. I tried it with my own email before and after I had it “fixed” and it worked then, but now it’s not working (after removing my email address from the contact list in CC, which I did when I had it “fixed”). It’s doing this with every single user/email address we get, and they can’t ALL be invalid.
