• Hey all,
Every time i try uploading anything of any size than the upload fails with “http error” this started happening a week ago without any changes to the site :/

The strange thing is that WP_posts sql table creates around 300-400 entries for that specific file im trying to upload :S so when i uploaded a batch of 15 files the sql was kinda huge..
Notice that the file is uploaded and every sql entry points at it, it cannot however be used or added to posts/sites with media browser.

I have searched alot and tried everything i could find!
    PHP is 5.6
    Reinstalled WP
Tried resize plugins and the standart editor one.

    Any pointers whould help.

  • Did you check with your host? I know I had a client who had this issue and what was the cause was he used all his storage space.

Well didn’t check with host yes, usually they say its the WP or something else :/

But the site takes 800Megs so got 2.2 gigs left, the storage should not be a problem.

I have 4 more sites hosted same place with older WP 3.8.5 and those have no issues.

Try removing plugins and themes and attempting to upload a file. It may be a plugin or theme conflict.

If that doesn’t work, sometimes your host company will give you insights into any errors that may be occurring on the server.
