HTTP Error loading media

I am currently building out two websites using the Spacious theme, both hosted by Go Daddy, and both are having problems uploading any sort of media. Whenever I do, I get a HTTP error.

After talking to Go Daddy customer service, they said it’s an issue with the theme. If I deactivate it and use twenty sixteen, for instance, I can upload photos without a problem.

I’d love to keep working with this theme, but need to know if there’s a solution to this issue. I am building these sites out for other people and will be handing them over, so it needs to be as simple and user-friendly as possible to fix.

Any insights?
