http error on image upload

    Yes, I’m getting THAT error on WP v.4.1.1., though I have changed nothing recently (no new plugins or other changes).

    Things I have tried (none of which have worked):
    Changing the file permissions in cPanel (as best I could, cPanel does not give me the options mentioned in the article I found on here)
    Using a different computer
    Changing the php version on my site
    Updating ALL the things
    Disabling ALL the things
    Changing the max image dimensions
    Contacting my host – they claim they could not replicate the error, told me it was to do with coding/development and to contact a coder. <_< They did however provide a short error log for my IP, which is given below:

    Update:

    I have managed to successfully upload a couple of images with much smaller file sizes, even though the file sizes of the “error” files are already WAY below the stated max allowed file size.

    Example file sizes of “error” images: 498/568/860 kb
    Example file sizes of successful images: 44.9/40.6/85.3 kb
