Http error on image upload

    Hello there

    I am getting an HTTP error uploading a jpeg or a png file to my blog. I have been able to upload some images and not others.

    Here is what I have tried:
    – Deactivate plugins that I updated recently.
    – Gone back to the original file and recreated the image again.
    – Resized image
    – Saved it as a different file (PNG)
    – Saved it as a different size (quality)
    – Tried importing with image uploader and batch
    – Tried uploading it from multiple devices
    – Tried inserting code into php which I found in a thread of 7 years ago. That didn’t work, so I deleted the code.

    FYI: I am not savvy enough to go into the back end folders at my host. So if that is the only option, please include step by step instructions.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    If this happens with all images I would recommend contacting your host. If could be a permissions error on the upload folder.

    Thanks. I contacted my host. I actually had to upload through the host and download the Add From Server plugin. Not sure why this happened now. It was working fine before. Thanks for your help.
