HTTP Error uploading media files

    Hi, I keep getting the HTTP error every time I try to upload media files to my media library. Anyone know how to fix this for WP 4.5? Please! HELP! I’m not a professional web designer so please post in layman’s terms. Thank you!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    There is a known problem with uploading media after upgrading to WP 4.5, discussed extensively in this thread. I found the HTACCESS method fixed my problem.

    Word Press installed an update to my WordPress and fixed a few technical glitches, so it seems to be working now. Thanks!
