HTTP response test get an error

    Hi, have just installed the Plugin and trying to add a job. Using an Amazon S3 account as storage space (added security keys etc). Get this error message:

    The HTTP response test get an error “Failure when receiving data from the peer”Not expected HTTP response body:

    Job doesnt even begin to run.

    Any ideas? thanks

    Did you have secured your wp-cron.php with a plugin or similar?
    All URLsin WP > Settings > Genreal correctly configured?
    Are caching Plugins Active?
    Did Scheduled Posts work?

    Hi, thanks for replying. I doubt I hvae secured my wp-cron.php with a plugin or similar as to be honest I dont know what this is. So no I believe.

    URLs are set to post name.

    I had a cache plugin on there but deactiveated it ages ago and have now deleted it.

    I don’t have scheduled posts running. but I have just tested this and I don’t think the scheduled post is working or the post that I sceheduled didn’t then appear. No idea why this is. Or how to fix it. Will backup not run if this isn’t working?

    The Schuduled posts yuses the same wordpress cron that backwpup uses. That indecates that is not a backwpup preoblem.

    With hoster did you use? Allows the Hoster loopback connections? You must get you WordPRess cron working.
