http://example.com vs www.example.com

Add to your .htaccess file:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
</IfModule>

That’s because you’re looking for exactly the opposite. Try:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
</IfModule>
