    Hi,

We setup Yoast plugin for our wordpress blog. When we checked the sitemap index file, it is listing sitemap files in http.

We have changed the “WordPress Address ( URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” to https. These were in http. Then we deleted the Yoast SEO plugin and reactivated it. But still it shows the site map files in http only.

    Thanks

All links show as https now. Is this the same for you?

yeah cool ! it does. Any clue why it wasn’t showing earlier ? Why did it take time. How does this plugin generate sitemap ? Is this dynamic ? because we couldn’t see the sitemap index files in the document root.

    Thanks

Our plugins create sitemaps on the fly. In some cases, the cache functionality on your site prevents the sitemaps from updating automatically.
