Https issue after importing site from wordpress.com

    I imported a wp.com blog to a new self hosting and all is good at this NON SSL URL
    http://goo.gl/qs7jR9.

    Problem is as wp.com uses ssl on all blogs https:// i have various https links in google search results that show a broken version of the new HTTP site, example here: https://goo.gl/365gZh.

    1. why do these https link show a broken version of the site.
    2. how do i get rid of these https links.
    3. i have tried installing a ssl certificate but the https links are still broken. I have no need for ssl anyway.

    any help would be great.
