• Currently the theme is broken if you want full HTTPS support, if you don’t go in and force https in the logo in markup.php then you will be stuck with ‘mixed content’ despite using forced SSL plugins, htaccess settings for forced ssl etc.

    Plus the theme itself forces you to use a bunch of otherwise useless and convoluted features.

    I appreciate the effort and the sleak design but there a alot of technical problems under the hood that your average wordpress user wont know how to deal with.

  • @kenjiow – thanks for letting us know about the HTTPS issue. Will get addressed via a future update. Wasn’t even aware this is an issue users were dealing with.

    Most people (including us) are running Allegiant on HTTPS fine without going in an d changing the code.

    Nonetheless, I really appreciate you taking the time to review our product.

    Thanks,
    Cristian.

    Also, I’ve gone ahead and opened up a support ticket with our development team which you can follow here: https://github.com/MachoThemes/allegiant-lite/issues/61 if you’re interested.

    Thanks,
    Cristian.

    @machothemes
    I created a pull request at that bug post, and created another issue about twitter

    @kenjiwow – this issue has been fixed with an update, that was released a couple of months ago. You can see the ticket here, on GitHub: https://github.com/MachoThemes/allegiant-lite/issues/61

    Would you be so kind as to re-consider your initial review ?

    If you don’t believe it’s worth changing, there’s no pressure but I just had to ask 🙂

    Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    /Cristian.
