Hundreds login attempts

    I am getting hundreds login attempts, when I see the log there is always wp_xmlrpc mentioned.
    The debug says MMDB_ADDR = IP0 REMOTE_ADDR = IP0

    Can I please get any advice on that? I have another site and there is 0 login attempts there. Why am I getting so many here?

    I’m not sure that the dubug code has anything to do with why you are getting a lot of login attempts. Does the site that has a lot of login attempts get more traffic? It’s also possible the server the site is hosted on has more bot activity in general.

    Thanks for your reply. I realized it was the wp_xmlrpc file issue after examining the plugin report about the login attempts. I used a plugin to disable accessing the file. I do not have login problems anymore.
